Unproduced Sketch: Auditory Illusion

Remember the “Yanny/Laurel” thing? The correct answer is “vaguely.”

That whole thing went viral while I was on vacation, and by the time I got back we were just at the tail of end of anyone caring about it at all. Once you factor in production times there was absolutely no reason to do a sketch about it. But I had this idea that I thought was fun, so I wrote it anyway, assuming it was only a matter of time before there was some other subjective illusion thing would take the Internet by storm. We had this script ready with the intention to swap out the third specific with whatever thing was new and relevant.

There just never was a new, relevant thing.
